Principal and Executive Vice President, Compression Hosiery Specialist

Paul Amatangelo has 20 years experience in the compression hosiery business and is the co-owner and executive vice president for Ames Walker International, Inc.  In this role, Paul oversees all sales and marketing and is responsible for creating new products, developing packaging, professional marketing, catalog management and web site development.  The company was founded in 1995 with his partner Ken Walker, originally to develop and expand an export distribution business, before creating it’s first direct to consumer web site AmesWalker.com in 1997.   Prior to AmesWalker.com, Paul worked at Kendall-Futuro as vice president of marketing where he was responsible for health care products including the Curad brand and health support stockings.  He also worked at Johnson and Johnson as a senior product director for first aid products including the Band-Aid brand.  Before moving to marketing, Paul worked in the Johnson and Johnson research department where he developed new products.
